How do you take your level design to the next level and make the player’s experience more exciting? “You should add interactive moving objects to the maps. For example, walls and platforms that will guide the players and can both protect and destroy the character. This will add gameplay dynamics,” suggests Daniil Honcharenko, Level Designer at Plarium. Daniil wrote a guide about his own experience creating interactive moving objects for three maps in the PvP shooter Mech Arena and added 37 GIFs to illustrate the process in great detail.
