Farewell to Venus Satellite and its Electric Propulsion System (EPS) As we bid adieu to the Venus satellite, we celebrate the remarkable journey of its Electric Propulsion System (EPS), the R-400 EPS, which marked Rafael's first generation electric propulsion system. Launched back in 2017, this pioneering technology has accomplished three major goals in space: 🚀 Performance characterization in space 🌍 Orbit transfer 🛰️ Autonomous orbit control The propulsion plate, featuring a hybrid propulsion system (Chemical and Electric), was a testament to Rafael's innovation and excellence. Developed, designed, integrated, qualified, and propellant-loaded by Rafael, this system has truly set a high benchmark for future space endeavors. We are immensely proud of the contributions and advancements made possible by the Venus satellite and its EPS. Director General, Maj. Gen. (Res.) Eyal Zamir, visited Aeronautics Group a subsidiary of Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, whose UAV systems play an active role in Israel’s various defense efforts. During his visit, DG Zamir toured the company's facilities and discussed with Yoav Turgeman, CEO of Rafael and Chairman of Aeronautics, and Dan Slasky, CEO of Aeronautics, about strengthening Israel's defense industry and promoting defense exports.

RAFAEL was privileged to facilitate the 19th NATO Spike Users' Club in Belgium. Rafael showcased the latest and most advanced capabilities of the Spike Missile Family. Company representatives delivered lectures on lessons learned to support the cooperation between the 150 participants from 20 different nations. The event served to provide a platform for the various Spike users to connect and optimize their own use of the sophisticated technology.
