Last week, Sheba again had the profound honor of welcoming President Isaac Herzog and his wife Michal to our “Returning to Life” rehabilitation unit. The President spent his time there speaking with the brave young men and women in recovery who have sacrificed it all for our nation. We want to extend our deep gratitude to President Herzog and First Lady Michal. During these challenging times, their show of solidarity and their involvement is a ray of light for soldiers and for Sheba’s staff.

Since October 7th, Sheba has harbored numerous tales marked by determination and brave individuals overcoming diversity. One person who has truly stood out and has left a profound impact on everyone in Sheba is Erez Yatzkan. He bravely fended off terrorists for hours protecting his family, but that was just the beginning of his journey. Now, he’s battling back his injuries at Sheba and taking his life back.
