Our commitment to the Druze community in Majdal Shams is unwavering. As our Chairman Doron Almog Avrutsky said, 'This is the Jewish people, standing by our Druze brothers and sisters, and above all, extending a helping hand.' Yesterday, our Chairman visited the community grieving the tragic loss of twelve children, meeting with families whose lives have been forever changed. He pledged that The Jewish Agency will use all its resources to help the Druze community recover. In partnership with Keren Hayesod - UIA and the Jewish Federations of North America, we are providing immediate financial aid, with additional support through our Fund for Victims of Terror. Together, we stand in solidarity and support. Read more about the visit and join us in supporting the Majdal Shams community: https://bit.ly/4c1QPXW

“I think camp Shlichim are super important, especially this year, when there’s lots of misinformation spread on the media and hate against Jewish people and Israel." - Daria After October 7 and being evacuated from her kibbutz, Daria was excited to return for her third year as a Camp Shlichah to give back to those who were there for her during these past difficult months. She is one of~1,500 Shlichim who are working at over 100 camps across North American this summer, playing an even more critical role in bringing Israel to life in the wake of Hamas’s October 7 attacks. https://lnkd.in/exuqwuet

As we celebrate American independence today - we are also thinking about the 8 Americans that Hamas continues to hold hostage, and all 120 hostages who remain in Gaza. We call for their freedom every day. The eight Americans still held hostage by Hamas include Edan Alexander, Sagui Dekel-Chen, Hersh Goldberg-Polin, Omer Neutra, and Keith Siegel. Tragically, Itay Chen, Gadi Haggai, and Judith Weinstein Haggai are presumed dead. #july4 #bringthemhomenow
