We are overjoyed at the news that the Israeli hostage Qaid Farhan al-Qadi is finally home. After 326 days in Hamas captivity, al-Qadi was rescued in a daring IDF operation. A father of 11 from a Bedouin community near Rahat, he was abducted on October 7. We celebrate his return, and salute the security forces who brought him home. Our thoughts and concerns remain with the 108 hostages still being held by Hamas. #BringThemHomeNow

Supporting Israelis happens in many different ways. We were there in the immediate aftermath of October 7th, and we will continue to be there as long as help is needed. SparkIL has provided 70 million shekels in loans and 15 million shekels in grants to Israeli small businesses, helping to keep industry alive and holding jobs for soldiers who are fighting for Israel’s survival. We could not be prouder to provide this vital assistance.

It’s heartwarming to see the excitement on the faces of hundreds of new olim as they prepare for their first day of “Kita Aleph” (first grade) in Israel. Our dedicated team organized a special day filled with school supplies and a safari adventure to celebrate this milestone for the youngest olim from absorption centers across the country. Wishing these young students an incredible start to their school journey!

At the heart of our mission is creating connections and building community. This summer, our Camp Shlichim, like Evyatar, are bringing Israel to life at camps across North America. Through language, storytelling, and cultural exchange, Evyatar is making a positive and lasting impact on campers. His dedication is a testament to the strength of our global Jewish community and the power of shared experiences.
