🚜🔒 As #cyber risks escalate in the #agriculture sector, ISO/WD 24882 introduces new standards for #cybersecurity for tractors and agricultural machinery. ISO/WD 24882 addresses the rise in digital integration in agriculture. It requires comprehensive risk assessments, secure design practices, and robust lifecycle management. Though this new standard is expected to align with the Cyber Resilience Act, UNECE #R155, and ISO/SAE 21434, it offers a fresh perspective focused on the unique challenges of connected agriculture vehicles. Discover how this standard will impact operations and ensure cybersecurity resilience in Shira Sarid-Hausirer's new blog. Read more in the first comment ⬇️

🚨Breaking: two critical #Automotive #Cybersecurity incidents 1️⃣ An Asian automotive platform was hit by a ransomware group. Over 20,000 files, including sensitive customer and vehicle data, were stolen. A €25,000 ransom has been demanded, with a deadline of August 26, 2024. 2️⃣ Security researchers identified severe vulnerabilities in a popular infotainment system used by major automakers. These vulnerabilities can expose sensitive data, such as GPS coordinates, and allow malware to spread via USB and Bluetooth.
