What are the best ways to impress candidates with your hiring process?
Empower the candidate. Most candidates see their role in the classical hiring process as a passive one; in their eyes, besides the sending of a resume they are to wait for the company to make all moves and make all the decisions. Flipping the script on the candidates, allowing them better control of the process - such as choosing an interview time and format, giving them the choice to add more roles to be interviewed for and even altering the job description to some extant - will help them see the hiring process as the start of a true partnership.
