To a Global Manufacturing Company Required Digital Transformation Leader
Avery Dennison Hanita (formerly known as Hanita Coatings) is a manufacturer of high-value, engineered films and laminates for a wide range of applications. The company specializes in developing and producing engineered polymeric films to enhance the energy efficiency, safety, or durability of various products. The solutions offered include:
- Energy-saving, security, and shading window films: These coatings can be installed on existing windows in buildings, reducing energy consumption from cooling the room and thus lowering electricity bills by up to 20%.
- High-performance packaging films: Flexible films with high gas and moisture barriers.
- Printing coatings: Coated polyester films for labels, and synthetic printing substrates for digital printing machines.
Location: Kibbutz Hanita. The role requires attendance at the company; a hybrid model may be considered later in the role.
Reporting to: Finance Director.
Close work interface with: COO, Operational Excellence Department, and Information Systems Department.
Job Description:
- Mapping the current physical and virtual infrastructure and determining the scope & timing of projects
- Characterizing organizational needs and establishing specification documents.
- Identifying existing and new technological solutions and adapting them to the needs of various departments according to prioritization (shop floor and offices).
- Preparing and establishing the technological infrastructure and digitalization through all fields.
- Creating work processes, documentation, implementation, maintenance, and training.
- KPIs & Managing work interfaces within the organization and externally, including the parent company.
Background and Experience:
- Academic education - Industrial and Management Engineer or IT-related degree (B.Sc).
- Previous experience in leading projects in the digital field or a similar role - a significant advantage.
- Knowledge and familiarity with various types of technologies.
- Knowledge and experience in AI & Digitalization.
- Previous experience in an industrial company.
- Very good command of English - reading, writing, and speaking - a must.
