I have worked in both industry and practice for over 20 years in a variety of VAT and Insurance Premium Tax (advisory and compliance) roles.
I am primarily based in the Manchester office, as well as advising both London and Liverpool office clients. I specialise in advising "partially exempt" clients on all aspects of VAT and "wholly taxable" clients identify and optimise VAT and Customs Duty cash generation opportunities.
I have led numerous projects that have delivered substantial amounts of VAT as cash refunds for clients on a UK and pan-EU basis.
Also involved in high profile specialist VAT litigation case relating to the VAT exemption of Investment Managemnent services to Pension Funds.
