Remembering October 10, 2014 when it was announced that our founder Kailash Satyarthi would be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. It was a moment of pride for every Indian and that of victory for every child in the world. 9 years on, his struggle to protect every child continues! #throwback #nostalgic #nostalgia #nobel #nobelprize #nobelpeaceprize

Today is #WorldMentalHealthDay, a day to spread awareness about mental health. While we are slowly becoming aware of the physical health of children, mental health still remains a far cry. Children and especially adolescents are generally vulnerable emotionally and psychologically, but the ones who have been forced into child labour, raped and assaulted in the garb of child marriage, those children who have been trafficked and subjected to unspeakable torture and abuse, each one of them lives with such agony and pain that you and I cannot even fathom. Without proper counselling and rehab, a lot of these children are psychologically and mentally unhealthy for life. Depression, anxiety, post traumatic stress disorder are some of the issues they deal with all their lives. Let us join hands and be more empathetic and vigilant. Let us ensure that this world brims with not just physically healthy children but mentally healthy too. For this, we need to protect and nurture them. #WorldMentalHealthDay2023 #childrights #childprotection
