‘SaAkaara’ is a joint initiative of the Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal Foundation, and ENpower. SaAkaara is a fusion of two words: ‘Swayam’ and ‘Aakaara’. The program is designed to empower school students to become self-reliant and drive meaningful change around them. In this 24-hour program, consisting of weekly one-hour sessions for students of Grade 6 and 7, over 1,000 students from 10 schools across Bengaluru will be impacted. Students will learn entrepreneurship and innovation in a gamified and engaging environment. This program also aims to create a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship in schools through its interventions. #StayTuned for all the action as the SaAkaara journey begins. Our recent training session in collaboration with IndusInd's Flagship CSR Holistic Development Inititative, partnered by WOTR was a resounding success. Held in Dharashiv on July 24th, the students embarked on an exciting journey into the realms of entrepreneurship, design thinking, and technology. What stood out was the incredible peer learning facilitated by student ATL buddies. ENpower implemented a peer-to-peer learning workshop with 4 schools, 4 ATL in-charges, and 30 students involved at the Ravindra High School, Dharashiv under the Flagship CSR Holistic Development Initiative. We covered concepts around entrepreneurship, design thinking, and tech skills like basic electronics, Tinkercad, and 3D printing. Practical sessions. Excitement and creativity soared at Gurudev Datta High School's first Robotics Workshop! Over 50 students from grades 6 to 9 delved into the world of robotics, learning about its real-world applications and building their own remote-controlled cars. 40 young innovators of Royale Concorde International School; participated in Robotics Workshop held on 28th June, 2024 under the ENpower Hafele CSR Initiative. We conducted an intensive 4-day training program under L&T's CSR Initiative. Our Tech and Entrepreneurship program is running successfully for the 2nd year now. The Day 1 of this year’s program kickstarted with live demonstrations, engaging activities, various sessions on employee code of conduct, marketing guidelines and a lot more.
