    The thing about startup culture is that you’re never just employer-employee, you’re often friends, companions for parties or hobbies, or genuine well-wishers. In case of Anudeep and me, it’s all of the above. He has been with us since the early days of our first startup Solutions Infini (now Kaleyra). I have witnessed him grow leaps and bounds across all these years, both personally and professionally. And it is immensely gratifying to support him further in this journey of growth. Last weekend, we completed the Bengaluru 10k Challenge run together. It was a tougher route than usual because of the elevation of NICE road. I paced him throughout the run, and he delivered his personal best! :D I am so proud of him for this achievement. His sincerity and commitment towards everything he picks up, be it related to work or running, is commendable. He’s gearing up for a half marathon after this. I can’t wait to see him break his own records and shine through like always. #startups #culture #running #friendship

    WhatsApp's Game-Changing Price Reduction: A Death Blow to SMS 👉 WhatsApp has announced a groundbreaking 67% reduction in its price for transactional and utility messages, making it more affordable than SMS for transactional alerts. 👉 Unlike SMS, which charges for each 160-character message, WhatsApp's charges cover a 24-hour conversation. This move could be the final death blow to SMS. For example, consider a bank sending OTPs and transaction alerts. With WhatsApp, they can now engage in a full 24-hour conversation with their customers at a fraction of the cost of multiple SMS messages. Adding to the disruption, iOS has announced RCS capability starting from iOS 18, pushing SMS even closer to obsolescence. Are you leveraging these new channels for lower costs and better engagement?     🔔 Important Update for Businesses Using WhatsApp Business! 🔔 In a bold move to enhance user experiences, WhatsApp has introduced changes to its message delivery policy, primarily affecting marketing communications. This new policy automatically fails delivery of marketing messages to users,  leading to higher failure rates. The algorithm working behind the scenes (which are complex and hidden), are aimed to ensure that users do not face promotion/ marketing fatigue on WhatsApp. While this is a great move for end-consumers, businesses are given limited understanding as to why their messages are failing. The error codes: 1026 and 131026 in response signify a broad set of possibilities for delivery failure, leaving product and engineering teams confused, and they can only resort to guess work.
