Here’s how we covered the year: - Coconut-Related Damages: Digit paid ₹16.8 million in claims for over 1,500+ incidents, with Maharashtra leading the way in 350+ vehicle-related cases in 2023 alone. Avg. payout per claim? ₹10,000. 🥥 - Monkey Business: Over 1,000 two-wheeler claims settled due to monkey damage since inception, with ₹3.5 million paid to date. 🐒 - Elephant Trouble: 9 motor claims in FY24 were settled due to elephants. 🐘 - Dogs on the Move: Dogs caused 7% of animal-related claims, amounting to ₹300 million in payouts.
