Happy first National Space Day India! 🌕   Exactly one year ago, the historic #Chandrayaan3 mission landed its lander and rover successfully and ISRO chief proclaimed, “India is now on the moon”. The 23rd of august has since been named National Space Day and of course we join the celebrations. ⭐   Our Innovation Counsellor, Dr. Dhoya Snijders joined the National Space Day event organised by ISpA- Indian Space Association on 'Creating a Space Ecosystem: A New Era—Igniting Young Minds for Space Exploration'. The event was well attended by prominent figures, including Dr. Somanath S, Chairman of ISRO - Indian Space Research Organization, and Dhoya highlighted the Indo-Dutch partnership in the space sector, which goes back to the 1960s. 🛰️   Today, as part of the weekly #DeepDive sessions at the Netherlands Embassy in India, we discuss space collaboration with a special expert session featuring Dr. SUSMITA MOHANTY, Director General of Spaceport SARABHAI on lunar exploration, the past, present, and future, and India's ambitions in the domain. Yesterday, Mr. Krishanu Acharya, CEO, SUHORA represented SUHORA in “Creating a Space Ecosystem: A New Era-Igniting Young Minds for Space Exploration” by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) in collaboration with ISpA- Indian Space Association and IN-SPACe, India. The objective of this initiative was to celebrate the achievements of the Chandryaan-3 mission while motivating young minds to pursue their quest for space exploration. Mr. Acharya shared the amazing journey of SUHORA and talked about the potential of fusion of Geospatial data with AI/ML and leveraging the advancements of space-borne Earth Observation for critical downstream applications.

National Space Day Celebration: A New Era of Space Education India's space journey took a significant leap forward with the co-hosted 'Creating a Space Ecosystem: A New Era—Igniting Young Minds for Space Exploration' celebration by AICTE and ISpA to commemorate National Space Day. Distinguished Presence and Key Announcements The event was graced by prominent figures, including Dr. S. Somanath, Chairman of ISRO, and His Excellency Herve Delphin, Ambassador of the European Union. A major highlight was the launch of the AICTE Model Curriculum for Space Technology, designed to empower students with the skills needed to contribute to India's burgeoning space industry. Collaborative Efforts and Knowledge Sharing The event featured the unveiling of the book "Introduction to Finite Element Analysis," co-authored by Dr. S. Somanath and Dr. S. Unnikrishnan Nair.
