Introducing our recent animated film for Haqdarshak, a platform that helps citizens access government schemes and programs more easily. To complement the launch of their Yojana Card, we imagined a light-hearted animated explainer that features some use cases inspired by real-life anecdotes. It all began innocently with a simple DIY project started by Raaj and Pakhi. Words like “space” and “creator” got thrown around and before we knew it, our original animated film ‘Crater’ was born. This Sunday, Crater won the Best Animation (Jury) Award at the Bangalore Shorts Film Festival and we couldn’t be more proud. Looking back, it was a long journey with profound learnings and some bumps along the way, but seeing our film out there makes it all worth it. More on Crater soon 🌙

No better way to start this week. Our latest LastBench Original, 'Crater', won the Best Animation Film (Jury) award at the recently concluded 13th Bangalore Shorts Film Festival. Originals are our way to push creative boundaries, try newer ways of storytelling and a space to unleash one's creative energies, without any boundaries and constraints. And one of the best ways to get validation for these efforts is through some of these unbiased nominations/screenings/awards. Here's to hoping this is the first of many for Crater.
