With the start of the new academic year, Vinoba program is collaborating with districts to plan and implement the Academic and Life-skills program. In July, baseline assessments for FLN were conducted for over 240,000 students in 4 districts, and practice tests for various programs were successfully carried out in multiple districts, impacting thousands of students. Vinoba program's support in implementation and reporting has been crucial, and the exceptional efforts of teachers, schools, and CRCs are being duly recognized. Consistent practice, timely feedback, and a motivated teacher community are key to improving learning outcomes. Laughter Yoga Online Session ! 😁 We are thrilled to share the success of our recent Laughter Yoga session conducted online as an award for our incredible teachers. This unique and joyful experience brought smiles, laughter, and a sense of community to our dedicated educators, who deserve all the appreciation for their hard work and commitment. Event Highlights: The session was filled with laughter exercises, deep breathing, and playful activities that helped our teachers relax and rejuvenate. On June 21st , Hon. CM of Chhattisgarh Vishnu Deo Sai, presented Post of the Month award to 5 teachers in Dhamtari district, Chhattisgarh. Also, yesterday, Neha Belsare madam, SCERT Maharahstra, recognized 5 teachers for sharing their outstanding experiments in the Teaching Learning process. Vinoba program facilitated 273 monthly recognition programs felicitating 1,109 teachers during academic year 23-24. They will be paired with volunteers from Persistent and linked to the VNIT incubation center. During 2023-24, OLF facilitated 273 Teacher Recognition Events. A total of 1,109 Zilla Parishad Teachers from 16 districts were honored. Over 60 Newspaper posts, 18 Radio interviews and 2 TV interviews added color to the honor. The CEO Zilla parishad and Collectors heartily extended their support to make this successful. Teacher profession needs to be alluring with high self-esteem. Good work needs to be recognized timely – to show that performance matters. This is good management principle for motivating employees for high performance. IAS Officials, District Authorities, Block Level Officers, alongside esteemed local MP’s and MLA’s, came together to felicitate Teachers. For many teachers, it was a moment of profound emotion, marking one of their very first acknowledgments in their years of tireless service spanning 10-30 years. Admission to JNV/ Sainik/ EMRS schools/ Scholarship exams – after std. 5th or 8th - is life changing for the student and their families. In 23-24 - Vinoba program supported practice tests for Scholarship exams/ JNV/ JEE-NEET filtering exams in 9 districts for over 50 thousand students and for over 120,000 papers containing over 1.8 crore questions. Students in Government ZP schools miss out on these opportunities - due to lack of resources and lack of practice. Teachers find it mundane and time consuming to make paper and check 150 questions for one student. Vinoba program supports paper correction and marks compilation using OMR sheets. This also generates question-wise and student-wise analysis. Teacher can now spend time in guiding and helping the students. Vinoba program aims to improve quality of education by supporting and motivating teachers.
