Building a Healthier India Through Nutrition Nutrition forms the foundation of good health, providing essential nutrients that promote physical and mental well-being. At Reliance Foundation, we recognise the critical role nutrition plays, especially in rural communities, and are committed to creating opportunities that empower individuals to lead healthier lives. As India observes National Nutrition Month (Poshan Maah) this September, we reaffirm our commitment to bridging the nutritional gap. Our grassroots initiatives, such as awareness programs and capacity-building efforts, are making a lasting impact. With the support of Reliance Foundation Digital Farm, we aim to educate and equip rural communities with the knowledge and resources they need to make healthier choices. By fostering better nutritional practices and empowering people with information, we are driving positive change and building a healthier, more resilient India. #RelianceFoundation #RelianceFoundationTransformingLives #WeCare #PoshanSeShuruat #PoshanMaah #NationalNutritionMonth #HealthAndWellness #NutritionForAll #HealthyIndia #Wellbeing #NutritionMatters #EmpowerCommunities

At the Empowering Youth for the Jobs of the Future national conference, speakers on the panel ‘Future Forge - Building India's Skilling Landscape’ shared several insights into the future of skilling. Here are some highlights from the discussion. Akansha Pandey, Director, MSDE, underscored the nation’s demographic dividend and pace of economic growth as factors contributing to India becoming the skills capital of the world. Initiatives like the Pradhan Mantri National Apprenticeship Mela are helping youth learn about various industries and roles in them, she said. Cecilia Carnefeldt, CEO and President, Kunskapsskolan Education, said education systems vary in scale across countries but share similarities. She explained it is not just academics, but strong emphasis on vocation and skilling-based training. Ashwini Saxena, CEO, JSW Foundation, highlighted how India can show the way ahead for many countries. He said the green transition is going to create a big churn out of skilled labour and it is going to require effort to create opportunities for low-skilled manufacturing. Pradyumna Bhattacharjee, Education Specialist, The World Bank, pointed to ageing populations, climate change and changing political situations across the world as factors that could have a bearing on India being skilling capital of the world.
