Announcing LOKA X Reslink I was amazed to learn that the average time to kick off R&D in India is 6 months. Can you imagine that? If you're a startup with limited resources, trying to expand or launch a deep tech product, the most challenging part would be getting your R&D done (lab tests/POC validation) within your timeline and budget. I know of a startup at IIT Delhi that took 3 years to complete their R&D. They always faced a lot of friction in finding the right researcher, collaborating efficiently, and deploying their resources smartly to get a better ROI. Initially, I thought this challenge was exclusive to startups. However, after talking to SMEs and bigger companies, I discovered that all of them face a lot of challenges in finding the right researchers/labs/other resources to kickstart their R&D requirements. Krishnan Sunderarajan faced similar issues when building their product, which combines fitness and fun. We're thrilled to share that we helped them start their work within 10 days, a process that ideally takes a couple of months. It's been more than 2 months of collaboration, and we've learned a lot from Krishnan Sunderarajan. We're inspired by their vision to gamify exercise.
