Here’s an overview of the diverse activities we've organized: 1. Meme Night 🤣 Our Meme Night was a huge success, providing a platform for members to showcase their creativity and humor. Participants created and shared memes, sparking laughter and conversations. This event not only entertained but also highlighted the power of humor in building connections. 2. Potluck Event 🍲 The Potluck Event was a culinary journey that celebrated our club’s diversity. Members brought dishes, creating a mosaic of flavors and stories. This event promoted cultural exchange and camaraderie, as we shared meals and learned about each other’s traditions. 3. Jam Session 🎤 Our Jam Session was a melodic gathering of music enthusiasts within the club. This event fostered a creative and relaxed atmosphere, allowing members to express themselves and bond over shared musical interests. 4. Movie Screening of Eras Tour 🎬 We hosted an immersive Movie Screening of the Eras Tour for all the swifties, where members relived iconic musical moments. These exchanges symbolize our commitment to fostering international understanding, friendship, and cooperation. Each exchange is a step towards building a more connected and compassionate world. 🤝 2 Sister Club Agreements: In addition to the letterhead exchanges, we proudly established 2 Sister Club Agreements. These agreements represent a deeper level of collaboration and mutual support. This recognition by RID 3011 is a testament to our commitment to bridging the educational gap and empowering underprivileged youth. About Shiksha Ki Seedhi: Rotary Area of Focus: Basic Education & Literacy A Holistic Approach to Bridging the Educational Gap Shiksha Ki Seedhi is a comprehensive, three-tiered program designed to empower underprivileged youth by equipping them with the tools they need to succeed. Our project aligns perfectly with Rotary's Area of Focus - Basic Education and Literacy and contributes to achieving UN Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education. Building a Strong Foundation: Tier 1 - Weekend School Our Weekend School offers classes in: 1. English 2. Math 3. Science 4. Public Speaking 5. Digital Literacy 6. Vocational Training These classes equip students with essential knowledge and skills, preparing them for further education and future opportunities. Service to others is the rent we pay for our room here on Earth Under the dynamic support of the club members, Rotaract Club Of Genesis Midwest has had a remarkable year filled with meaningful initiatives and heartfelt engagements. We are thrilled to share some of the impactful programs we’ve conducted to make a difference in our community: 1. Old Age Home Visit 🏡: Our members visited local old age homes, spending quality time with the residents. We listened to their stories, shared laughter, and brought a sense of warmth and companionship, reminding them that they are cherished and valued. 2. Sanitary Pad Distribution Drive 🩸: In an effort to promote menstrual hygiene, we organized a sanitary pad distribution drive. This initiative aimed to provide essential sanitary products to women in need, along with spreading awareness about menstrual health and breaking the stigma surrounding it. 3. Operation Joyride 😊: Through Operation Joyride, our Rotaractors dedicated time to underprivileged individuals, engaging in fun activities and games to spread happiness and joy. The smiles and laughter we shared were truly priceless, creating cherished memories for everyone involved. 4. Project Stray 🐾: We extended our love and care to stray animals through Project Stray. Our members provided food, affection, and necessary care to these animals, highlighting the importance of kindness towards all living beings. 5. Shiksha Ki Seedhi 📚: Education is a powerful tool for change. In Shiksha Ki Seedhi, our members volunteered to teach basic English and mathematics to underprivileged individuals. This initiative aimed to empower them with knowledge and skills that can open doors to better opportunities. This initiative was conducted in many phases: One was street school while the other one being life skill program at government schools. Each of these projects has reinforced our commitment to service above self, and we are incredibly proud of the impact we’ve made. Inner peace begins the moment you choose to let go of stress and embrace harmony!! On May 17th, the Rotaract Club of Genesis Midwest proudly organized a transformative zonal event titled "The Harmony Within," focusing on the crucial themes of mental health and mental peace. This event, held at Maharaja Agrasen Public School in Ashok Vihar, was the grand finale of RY 23-24, and it couldn't have been more impactful. The event featured a variety of enriching activities: ✨ Team Building Session: We kicked off with dynamic team-building exercises that fostered collaboration and strengthened bonds among participants. 🎤 Live Music by Dhruv Verma: The incredibly talented Dhruv Verma captivated us with his soulful music, creating an atmosphere of joy and relaxation. 🧘♂️ Meditation: The day culminated in a peaceful meditation session, guiding us towards inner calm and mental clarity. This event wouldn't have been possible without the dedication and enthusiasm of Rtr. Samir Passi (ZRR) and Rtr. Kriti Malhotra (DRR) and all the participants and organizers. Your energy and commitment made "The Harmony Within" a truly memorable and successful event.
