Yayy! Rozana completed its Series A round of funding, this is our first true step on scaling Rozana & in true essence the magic that awaits to be unlocked for Rural India.  I haven’t posted in sometime & would love to share a little about our journey and incredible new friends working with us on redefining rural India. Our devoted Rozanians have poured their heart & soul to build what we hope will be India’s largest rural consumer company. With gratitude we welcome some of India’s formidable people on our board who have not only helped reshape the Indian tech ecosystem but also helped build India’s top start-ups. I am thrilled to thank Pankaj , Rohit and Kanwaljit for leading the round and believing in Rozana’s vision to reshape the lives of a billion Indians. Rozana envisions serving every rural village of India with love and compassion.We aspire to work for the woman by delivering sanitary napkins in remote villages,to deliver books for children who have to travel 30 kms to get it,to provide shoes for millions aspiring to join the armed forces, chappals for the elderly whose children live in the cities, and gadgets for aspirational youth.This is a revolution built for 1 billion Indians & Rozana flourishes through their dreams and aspirations.  To fellow founders - The world will challenge you, run down your ideas, sometimes laugh at you but your conviction and answer should lie in what your consumers say.
