The Earthshot Prize, founded by Prince William, aims to support innovative projects to tackle climate change and protect the planet. 🌎For all of us at S4S Technologies - our mission has always been building an organisation that does good for the planet and the people. 🤝It started with using science and technology to serve people and has evolved into a movement that creates win-win outcomes for all our stakeholders - the planet, the women farmers, the customers, the funders. ☘We would have not come so far without the collective efforts of our Team that make everything possible. The Team for whom nothing else matters but doing their job and doing it well. Every day. Even when it’s hard. Even when it’s tedious. Even when it’s tough. So this award belongs to each and every member of the S4S Team. 💥So by winning the EarthShot Prize today we are humbled and honoured but we are also reminded that we have a long way to go - we have to protect nature, restore the oceans, fix our climate, clean our air and build a waste-free world. 💫And it is a reminder to each one of us at S4S and to our community - that every day - we must give Earth our Best Shot.

🌱 Exciting Milestone in Odisha! 🌱 On August 23rd, we had the privilege of participating in the Stakeholders Consultation on the Integration of Decentralized Renewable Energy (DRE) Livelihoods Technology in Odisha. The event brought together key leaders and experts to explore the potential of DRE technologies in transforming rural livelihoods. Nitesh Rikame from S4S shared our valuable learnings from the agricultural sector, highlighting how our solutions are designed to address these insights and enable sustainable DRE livelihoods. 🎉 We are thrilled to share that the ME Recognition Event recently took place at Giria village in Hinjlicut! This gathering brought together Micro-Entrepreneurs (MEs) from Hinjlicut and Sanakhemundi blocks, alongside representatives from the Ganjam Horticulture Office, World Food Programme India and our co-founder Ashwin Pawade. At the event, MEs were equipped with valuable tools and resources to enhance their entrepreneurial journey, including the Engagement and Onboarding Package video and booklet. S4S Technologies participated in the "Showcase of Sustainable Interventions of the Green Innovation Centers in the Apple Value Chain" event in Kullu, Himachal Pradesh. This event, part of the global "Green Innovation Center in Agriculture and Food Sector India," was organized by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH. We demonstrated our Solar Conduction Dryer and displayed various dried products, highlighting how our technology reduces post-harvest losses and extends the shelf life of agricultural commodities. The local interest, especially from apple farmers who face significant challenges due to climate change and lack of cold storage, was encouraging. Visits from the GIZ India delegation and the SELCO Foundation team opened doors for potential future collaborations, promising to advance our mission of sustainable agricultural practices. S4S Technologies had the honor of participating in the "Integrating Decentralised Renewable Energy (DRE) Livelihood Technologies in Maharashtra" organized by Council on Energy, Environment and Water (CEEW), Clean Energy Access Network, and GOGLA. The discussions centered on enhancing knowledge and awareness of DRE technologies, addressing promotion and finance challenges, and inspiring large-scale deployment. Our highlight? Hearing the incredible stories of our Micro-Entrepreneurs, Chaya Kundlikrao Surse and Kashi Shivaji Pawar, from Jalna. These remarkable women shared how our solar dryers have transformed their lives. Now, as integral parts of the supply chain and processors within the food industry, they have become more economically and climate-resilient. Their journeys exemplify the transformative impact of DRE technologies in creating lasting change. A heartfelt thank you to all the participants and organizers for facilitating such meaningful discussions. Together, we are paving the way to a sustainable and prosperous future! 💚🌱
