Creating this offering has been a collaborative effort and without the contributions of some people, ITP would not be in the shape and form that you see it today. Rupal Panchal, a Chemistry graduate from Maharashtra brings a unique perspective to her role as a Customer Calling Agent at Saarathee. Visually impaired due to Retinitis Pigmentosa, which she was diagnosed with while pursuing graduation, Rupal's prior experience as an instructor at NAB Meerut honed her skills and instilled a deep appreciation for the supportive nature of the disability community. Coming to Saarathee in April 2023, Rupal observed firsthand the determination and resilience of people with disabilities across various fields – qualities that inspire her daily. I was invited to share my thoughts on Fostering Multi-Generational Inclusion at workplace at the Global Inclusion Summit. Inclusion cannot be looked at segment wise...it has to be viewed holistically. An inclusive mindset, culture and eco-system with the right set of sponsors can help drive inclusion across age, gender, disability and beyond. I was particularly pleased to meet my co-panelist Mr K S Raghunandan, founder of EldersIndia, and gain a very interesting perspective on how increase in life expectancy has not correlated well with the retirement age at work leading to immense pressure on the caregiver community.... Organisations shy away from retaining employees of a certain age due to lack of relevant accommodations in areas of sensory, physical, mental, flexibility and intellectual support... Any corporate willing to drive disability inclusion by bringing in accommodations across people, facility, process and policy should be able to drive multi-generational hiring/retention without any challenge...it just has to start! I was glad to meet Munira Dabhiya, who was awarded for her work in the space of Inclusion as a #DEIChampion. Roop Automotives Limited were awarded for their inclusion practice (very well deserved, I always talk about their best practices)... We at Saarathee CRM Pvt.
