Recently, our Founder & CEO, Gaurav Goel, spoke on the ‘Implementation of PM Shri Schools Program’ at the Akhil Bhartiya Shiksha Samagam (ABSS) 2024, organised by the MINISTRY OF EDUCATION, GOVERNMENT OF INDIA to mark the 4th anniversary of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. In his talk, Gaurav addressed three key considerations for implementing the PM Shri Schools program and similar initiatives: 1. Clarity of Goal: Establish clarity of the outcome-based goals of the program at the outset, ensuring that every system actor is aligned with the desired outcomes and can track progress through measurable inputs and outputs. 2. Sustained Momentum: Build momentum through healthy competition between schools, active system and community involvement through Information, Education & Communication (IEC) campaigns, and a recognition and rewards system based on achievement of outcomes. 3. Sharing Best Practices: Facilitate the exchange of innovative practices from schools, districts, and states through workshops and collaboration to amplify innovation & impact. The Akhil Bhartiya Shiksha Samagam (ABSS) 2024 aimed to bring together all stakeholders to ensure the effective, smooth, and timely implementation of NEP 2020, foster strong linkages among higher educational institutions (HEIs), and address challenges faced by HEIs while proposing actionable solutions. #GovernanceMasterclass Over the last two weeks, we conducted our #GovernanceMasterclass at Indian School of Public Policy (ISPP) and Management Development Institute, Gurgaon. With over 150 students participating across both campuses, we introduced Samagra and the landscape in which we operate, before diving into our work. We highlighted our #KushalHaryana program in Haryana, where our team is designing and implementing state-wide interventions to improve the quality of education provided in Haryana’s government schools. The program is focussing on improving learning outcomes, pioneering a model for 21st century skills and post-school pathways, impacting all 13 lakh+ public school students in grades 6-12 in Haryana. We also presented the Samagra’s #GovernanceFrameworks - #TheGovernanceMatrix and #PanchsutrasForGovernanceTransformation. Developed from a decade of experience of co-working with central and state governments, these frameworks can be used by practitioners in the governance and social impact space. Learn more about the Governance Frameworks here 👉 https://lnkd.in/grxSGR72 The masterclasses were conducted by our team members Simran Bagga at both campuses, Tanusha Arora at ISPP and Ananya Mishra at MDI, Gurgaon. The UDAN (Ude Desh Ka Aam Nagrik) programme aims to democratise air travel, making it accessible to a larger section of the population, including those in smaller towns and rural areas. Attempt the poll based on your understanding of #TheGovernanceMatrix. The Governance Matrix determines the readiness of a government system (national, state or local) to drive outcomes as a function of the level of political salience and system capacity. The four quadrants of The Governance Matrix are: 1. Comatose (Low Political Salience, Low System Capacity) 2. Shooting Star (High Political Salience, Low System Capacity) 3. Sleeping Giant (Low Political Salience, High System Capacity) 4. Battle Ready (High Political Salience, High System Capacity) To know more about The Governance Matrix refer to the newsletter: https://bit.ly/3FB59Zx #GovernanceFrameworks #UDAN #CivilAviation

Domestic air traffic in India has grown from 6 Crore+ to 15.3 Crore+ in the last nine years. In light of the growing demand, civil aviation in India has seen significant focus through the UDAN (Ude Desh Ka Aam Nagrik) programme. UDAN aims to democratise air travel, making it accessible to a larger section of the population, including those in smaller towns and rural areas. By reducing travel time and improving connectivity through adding new airports, subsidising and expanding air routes, it enhances the quality of life for many, providing easier access to education, healthcare, and employment opportunities. #GovernanceFrameworks #UDAN #CivilAviation
