Holistic Impact in Action: An insightful Visit to Sarthak Foundation Earlier this month, I had the honor of planning and facilitating a learning visit to the Sarthak Foundation for the 2024 Incubation Entrepreneurs and Staff Team of TFIx-Teach For India. This visit was an opportunity to deeply engage with a holistic model that is making a profound impact on the ground, and to learn from the exemplary leadership that drives it. The purpose of this visit was to immerse ourselves in the innovative and holistic approaches of learning that Sarthak Foundation employs to empower children from the slums of Lucknow and other districts of Uttar Pradesh. We visited their Yellow rooms in Lucknow where we saw the learning spaces created by their incredible educators as well as Program team and interacted with the mothers in the community who are nothing but committed to the education of their children. We learnt from their dedicated team members who spearhead various functions at the organization. During the visit, the questions we were exploring were- What is the idea of an excellent education at Sarthak Foundation and what are some of their enablers towards the same? How are they scaling their work while maintaining quality? Each of us drew insights that could enrich our own initiatives. I'm grateful to the team of Sarthak Foundation who welcomed us with open arms, generously sharing their knowledge and experiences with us. Their strong leadership provided invaluable lessons that resonated with everyone in our group. (ASHISH SINGH Kshama Hastak Suhasini Akshay Rashmi Shukla Achintya Rai Shubhendru Pandey Raman Kumar Abhinav Shukla Shikha Singh) The absolute show stoppers of the entire visit were the student alumni of Sarthak Foundation. Witnessing their beliefs, growth, resilience, and the impact that Sarthak has had on their lives was a big highlight for all of us. Their stories were not only inspiring but also a testament to the incredible work that Sarthak Foundation has done for over a decade. A huge thank you to the entire Sarthak team for hosting us so warmly and for creating such a rich learning environment. Your dedication and passion have left a lasting impression on all of us, and we are deeply grateful for the insights and inspiration you've provided. #Learning #holisticeducation #LeadershipLessons #EducationForAll

Our Learning Circle took a deep dive into the operational backbone of any organization: budgeting and recruitment in its last 2 days. ANIL RATHOD , an expert in financial management demystified the budgeting process, empowering our Entrepreneurs to make informed decisions. His emphasis on financial sustainability and resource allocation was invaluable and gave our Entrepreneurs a much required confidence regarding their own budget. We also had the privilege of Swetha Balakrishnan joining us to take a session on recruitment and how to bring in the people who believe in the cause as much as we do. Her insights into talent acquisition were enlightening. She emphasised the critical role of human capital in driving organizational success. By understanding the nuances of recruitment, our Entrepreneurs are better equipped to build high-performing teams. These five days have laid a strong foundation for our Entrepreneurs to scale their impact and create lasting change. We're excited to see how these learnings shape their Fellowships. Learn more about our program and join us in our mission to provide excellent Education to All Children. https://lnkd.in/gv-r9qE

These 2 days our Learning Circle journey took a turn as we immersed ourselves in the world of Sarthak Foundation with Ashish and his team. Witnessing their unwavering commitment to fostering "Happy Empowered Children" through a holistic approach to education was truly inspiring. Their 'Yellow Rooms' are more than just classrooms; they are spaces where young minds blossom into leaders. The foundation's impact extends far beyond the walls of these rooms, as evidenced by their alumni now taking the reins and driving change within their communities. We would love to work with more Entrepreneurs who are transforming the education space in the country . Learn more about our program here: https://lnkd.in/gv-r9qE

Day 2 of our Learning Circle focused on curriculum designing. Our Entrepreneurs delved into deconstructing curriculum components and understanding their impact. Under the expert guidance of Smitha Ganesh they explored contextualization and participated in hands-on exercises. This intensive session has empowered them to refine their Fellowship program's core and scale their impact. Excited to share that we kicked off our first Learning Circle (LC) in Lucknow with a cohort of 24-25 inspiring Entrepreneurs! 💥 Day one was packed with learning and growth. Entrepreneurs honed their pitch presentations with expert feedback from Rishabh Lalani and Vignesh Krishnan preparing them to confidently engage with external funders. The afternoon brought valuable insights from 5 leading organizations working in SEL, STEM, and FLN enriching our understanding of student curriculum development. This LC is equipping our Entrepreneurs with the tools they need to scale their impact. Stay tuned for more updates!

I am filled with immense joy and pride as I reflect on the incredible journey of the entrepreneurs- Pranali Jadhav Sristi Karthik stanzin saldon, Swati Singh I had the privilege to work closely with over the past year as a Program Partner with TFIx-Teach For India. These entrepreneurs have successfully completed their incubation year and Fellowship design, marking a significant milestone in their mission to tackle the unique and diverse challenges in our communities that hinder the provision of quality education to children. Working with such a diverse set of leaders has been a transformative learning experience. Their unwavering resilience, courage, and dedication to their beliefs have been truly inspiring. These remarkable individuals have not only taught me valuable lessons in perseverance but have also demonstrated the power of community-driven initiatives. Our recent field visit was an eye-opener, particularly for our 2024 cohort of Education Entrepreneurs. We all found ourselves drawn to the incredible work of Ganesh through his organization Learning Companions. Ganesh works towards providing holistic education to nomadic and tribal children of Bharwad communities. With a staggering 71.3% dropout rate before Grade 10, these communities face immense challenges. Ganesh's solution is as impactful as it is innovative. His team empowers their Fellows (local leaders) with a hands-on, two-year Fellowship experience, equipping them to become the education leaders these communities desperately need. He is directly impacting over 700 children and indirectly over 6,000 more. Learning Companions is also providing meaningful educational opportunities in areas where college education often falls short. They are successfully empowering their Alumni, with over 90% having found fulfilling livelihoods and collectively impacting over 11,000 children's lives. Ganesh's story is a true testament to the power of social impact Entrepreneurship. Learn more about his incredible work here: #TFIx #SocialImpact #Education #Empowerment #Changemaker #India
