About us
Registered as Total Environment Building Systems Pvt Ltd, we are an Indian architect-led, real estate and design company known for our sensitively designed homes, microbrewery and jazz theatre. Headquartered in Bangalore, it was formed in 1996 and has consistently innovated and initiated new practices. We introduced the concept of a garden with every home, no matter what floor the house is on, as well as provided individually customised, furnished homes. Over the last 27 years, we have delivered beautifully designed homes of the highest quality. Our homes are a combination of design and craftsmanship, always adapted to the lifestyles of families living in them. Windmills Craftworks, our Jazz Music venue, Microbrewery and Restaurant in Bangalore, is an established destination in the country, known for presenting world class music in a close and intimate setting, and for its craft beer. But as we like to say – it’s not just sensitively designed spaces, craft beer, or world class music. It’s creating hand-crafted experiences that has set us apart since 1996.

Our kitchens at Total Environment are always open and inviting. Interior design options feature a choice of warm natural wood finishes as well as modern lacquered finishes. Cabinet shutters are designed with softly rounded edges to provide a safe and comfortable push-pull action. and with various handle options including integrated handles that are flush with the shutter and handle-less shutters as well. Shutter designs include framed shutters with veneer infill panel options, robust engineered wood shutters which are an inch thick. Designed around various different themes, our kitchen options are based on aesthetic appeal, longevity and functionality. Cabinetry wood finish options include yellow cedar, teak, oak, walnut and wenge and are developed to accentuate the natural tones and grains of wood.

The kitchen is at the heart of every home and is easily the most-used room in the house. From hosting parties and entertaining guests to family mealtimes and helping children with homework, the kitchen is often used for several different activities. When creating a kitchen there are several design elements to think about. Is there enough storage? Where will you put the appliances? Have you chosen the correct lighting? Will you proudly display pots, your crockery, wine glasses and pans, utensils, and ovenware, or will you tidily store them all away? At Total Environment, our kitchens are designed as open kitchens and planned in a manner that allows for plenty of natural light. Several custom design options are available in a manner that the sink, hob, and refrigerator positions are optimally planned to create the most optimal work triangle between the three to ensure efficient and easy working in the kitchen. Island counter options provide additional preparation space and work well in open-kitchen layouts.
