We are working on democratizing access to working capital for underserved sectors that traditionally lack collateral like property, plant or machinery. Founded in 2020 by Abhiroop Medhekar, Atul Khichariya, and Saurav Swaroop, Velocity's financing suite includes a range of financing products. We work with 4,000+ brands and have disbursed ₹800 Cr+. We have partnerships with 26 ecosystem players, including four of the largest marketplaces. Our portfolio includes many of India’s fastest-growing D2C brands such as French Crown, Soulflower, Chumbak, Off Duty, Itsy Bitsy, Bear House, Gear merchandise, Milano ice cream, Jamie’s Pizzeria, IDC, Farmley, Kebabs and Curries, KCC, and Zlade to name a few.     Velocity celebrates Aayushi Khandelwal, Kuldeep Parewa and Akhil Kansal, co-founders at Anveshan. Like all good things, Anveshan also began with a personal journey. When at Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati , Aayushi Khandelwal faced health issues from eating processed foods, she turned to her grandmother's recipes – and introduced  a treasure trove of superfoods and wholesome meals to her classmates Parewa and Kansal. The results were life-changing for all three. While Parewa brought his desire to address the challenges faced by farmers to his role as CEO at Anveshan, Kansal brought his technical, product development skills to effective use. Parewa developed a decentralised franchise model that enables local food processing, and partnered with farmers to promote sustainable agricultural practices. They partner with over 5,000 farmer families who process their own produce in micro-processing units near their farms. This empowers these farmers, eliminates middlemen, and ensures fair compensations all around. Aayushi Khandelwal’s commitment to quality and authenticity has been pivotal. She ensures the preservation of traditional processing methods, like cold-pressing and wood-pressing, which keep Anveshan’s products natural. Skills honed as a Senior Analyst at Goldman Sachs helped him navigate the market dynamics of the food industry and to attract funding from Titan Capital and DSG Consumer Partners. Kansal turned Anveshan into a complete food ecosystem by building innovative solutions that transformed the food supply chain. Together, the three of them established processes at Anveshan that: - Preserve traditional methods like cold-pressing and wood-pressing to keep their products natural. - They use QR code technology on every package to ensure complete transparency in tracing the product’s journey from farm to fork, with stringent quality checks at every step. - They build communities and create rural jobs by establishing processing units near farms. - Committed to sustainability, they encourage organic, sustainable farming practices. - They uplift local communities through economic empowerment and skill development. - Their unwavering focus on quality brings pure, healthy food to consumers.
