such field is intensely male dominated offshore industry.

    It's a year long project.
Under this, we're planning to interview males and females who are right now in this industry and will try to know the main barriers which results in low female participation.

The barriers that we have been able to identified through literature reviews include family responsibilities, discomfort participating in a male-dominated work and social environment, and prejudices, biases, and/or discrimination.

By directly interviewing people, we'll be able to identify the problems which are not identified in the literature reviews and then we'll work on these problems and try to come with some solution to increase the female participation.
