    Disaster and Humanitarian Relief

    Latur earthquake relief work. reached the same day the earthquake happened. First two days was intense work on cremating the dead and cleaning up the villages. Giving food and clothing to people who had lost their homes.

    The next 20 days: we went to the fringe areas that were earthquake hit but not in the mainstream of help arriving. We started building schools and starting them. We built over 7 make shift schools with the help of children and started them.

    Once the school…

    Once the school started, the village started to come back on its feet and get going!

  • A Mathematical Model to Optimize the Airway for a Dry Powder Inhaler

    Proceedings from Respiratory Drug Delivery (RDD), Book 2; pp451-6

    This was a great fun piece of work to optimise the eight dimensional design space of a dry powder inhaler airway, in terms of achieving aerosolisation performance that was independent of inspiratory energy. Sun Pharma wanted to produce a novel DPI that incorporated this technology, so we were employed to lead the development of the device.
