“I worked with Ambadas on a complex program of work, where my role was to validate platform designs produced by him and ensure they meet overall architecture standards. Right from the off it was clear that Ambadas takes his role very seriously and applies all necessary effort to produce a high-quality output. Ambadas was extremely diligent and dedicated to requirements discovery, which resulted in highly polished, accurate and presented landscape designs. The most impressive aspects of Ambadas's work were his overall awareness of project objectives, and the fact that he was on hand to advise on the best direction for some of the designs and how to best approach them in order to ensure positive outcome. He did not limit himself to simply liaising with applications support teams to gather requirements and then transferring them to the design. Ambadas displayed a great understanding of those teams' own objectives and constraints and adapted the timing for delivery of designs in a way that best accommodated their own plans and concerns in alignment with the project timelines. In the process, Ambadas gained a great rapport with those teams and clear respect from them too, all through his conduct. As an aside, beyond technical skills, Ambadas was a pleasure to work with on a personal level. He is clearly a very approachable person, with a very generous and positive attitude - all of which made working with him through a highly challenging, complex and pressured project more fun that it had any right to be. I thoroughly appreciated being able to depend on Ambadas every time, being able to expect that he will definitely deliver output as promised and on time, and that I can also bounce ideas off him and expect a reasoned, balanced view on the way forward. I would work with Ambadas again any day.”
