How can you improve your ability to influence others at work?
I feel that for creating a long-term influence and impact, one needs to lead by example. Be good at doing those one or two critical things, so that you become the go-to person for others in your organization for those priorities. You thus influence them by gaining their trust and respect.

What are the best techniques for memorizing a speech?
Rather than rote memorizing a speech, its more helpful to understand the flow of the speech and the important milestones. While practising a speech, its helpful to imagine the audience sitting in from of you, so your expressions, pauses etc are more real. Of course the mastery and expertise on content is always helpful to deliver a good speech
