  • AR Based Retail Suggestion App - Microsoft Imagine Cup 2019 Asia Online Semifinals

We designed this app concept for Microsoft's Imagine Cup 2019 Asia Online Semifinals.

Spot allows you to recognise packaged foods and check if it contains a certain ingredient or exhibits a certain character. If a tourist visits India, he is unaware of what he can eat because a lot of packets have information written in a foreign language. Even for general consumers, retail stores have massive variety for a single kind of product. Consumers are unaware of what is best for them. We want…

  • SPOT - (HackHarvard 2018) AR Based Product Suggestion System

I along with 3 other VITians represented our college at Harvard University's annual technical hackathon - hackHarvard 2018. Everyone gets choosy when they have options to eat. Everyone has their own preference but sometimes when life gives you too much free food, making the right choices is of great significant value. Spot allows you to tap and select all products you’d like to compare and asks you the filters you need to add. If you choose “Egg-Free” SPOT will tell you which of the products…

  • College Portal Application (HCI Semester Project)

I took an elective subject - Human Computer Interaction and worked on a project that could be a college portal app. I took a format similar to my college's framework and made the complete UI from scratch. To test the User Interface, I researched and verified Shneiderman’s Eight Golden Rules and 10 Usability Heuristics for User Interface Design by Jakob Nielsen. I worked on the project throughout the semester and uploaded all of my results on a Behance post.

  • Integrating Blockchain in Internet of Things

I made this project for one of my core CSE subjects - Parallel & Distributed Computing. I wrote a research paper and to pitch it, I designed a Behance post along with a video to present it for an audience.

There will soon come a time when one house will have numerous IoT devices communicating with one another. All these devices will be connected to a hub which would be responsible for giving these devices a virtual ID. In one instant of time, the hub can be expected to generate multiple IDs in parallel. This involves parallel execution and assignment of virtual IDs to IoT devices. We can do this if we involve Blockchain in Parallel Computing. Blockchains allow us to have a distributed peer-to-peer network where non-trusting members can interact with each other without a trusted intermediary.

  • Volt - Voltage Consumption Monitoring App

This idea originally started with me participating in a Hackathon where I wanted to make an electrical appliance that could help save and reduce energy. The idea was further augmented when I took a subject known as Lean Start- up Management in VIT. I along with five other students started to research more about this topic and decided that we could carry forward with the same idea. The first stage of product creation involved research of the market niche and making sure that no other product…

The idea was further augmented when I took a subject known as Lean Start- up Management in VIT. I along with five other students started to research more about this topic and decided that we could carry forward with the same idea. The first stage of product creation involved research of the market niche and making sure that no other product exists in the market before. The legal status is not public because this idea is still in its development stages. I made a UI for both a watchUI and iOS app. I even made a presentation video on Adobe After Effects from scratch. I do not own the music used in the video as this was for non-commercial and personal educational purposes only.

  • Daimoku Tracker App

tried to make something for my Behance profile. I wanted to make an app for people who practice Buddhism but never get the time. I've been practising Nichiren Buddhism for 8 years and I still forget to chant daily. This app can help you track your Daimoku (the chanting) and build a peaceful mind.

  • Lecture Broadcasting Application - Internet of Things Project

    -

This was a project for one of my elective subjects - Internet of Things at VIT.

I proposed to make a layout and user-interface for an app that can broadcast live lecture notes to students sitting in a classroom. In a gallery where one teacher is expected to give everyone equal attention, it becomes difficult for students who are sitting at the back to read what’s being written on the white board. I proposed to make a layout and user-interface for an app that can broadcast live lecture notes to students sitting in a classroom. In a gallery where one teacher is expected to give everyone equal attention, it becomes difficult for students who are sitting at the back to read what’s being written on the white board. Moreover, we do have a concept of virtual classes but that has a major flaw. Students in their hostel can simply join the virtual lecture without paying any attention to the lecture itself. This application is for in class teaching. I felt like there is a massive space for innovation for in-class teaching apps and therefore I decided to design a framework for the overall user Experience.
