Developed custom modules in EdX as part of the customization work required for EdCast. This also involved sending minor bug fixes back as open source contribution. The implementation was done in Django and revolved around certain security features and developing additional rest APIs for EdX.

Developed a python tool that lets you scaffold an entire Laravel(v4) application from a database schema including the migrations, models, controllers and views. This was the first exercise undertaking in python.

Developed a photo sharing social networking application as part of the school project. This was my first run in with web technologies, the stack for this particular project being VS2010, Asp.NET, SQL Server and IIS.

Built a social networking application with media as the primary focus for Android OS. It allowed users to stream tracks, share them , follow each other's preferences and playlists and curate tracks. The application was developed as an internal college project. The android application was developed in java while the server side systems used a LAMP stack.

Developed a payment allocation system for NG Electronics to generate and maintain payroll information for each employee based on the hours worked and productivity obtained using multiple parameters. This was developed as a freelance project and developed over 2.5 weeks while in college. The application was developed in Java using the Swing framework with SQLite for data storage and distributed as a binary.

An expense management application developed for NG Electronics in parallel with the Payment Allocation System. This application kept track of all the companies expenses and billings and generated invoices when required. The application was developed in Java using the Swing framework with SQLite for data storage and distributed as a binary.

Developed a project tracking system as a freelance project out of college. The system allowed users to create projects, estimate and track them and obtain feedback on the quality of the process being followed. It used custom algorithms to obtain the effectiveness score on the project track. The application was developed in java with MySQL as the primary database.

Developed an arcade style game for a client as a freelance project. The 2D game revolved around helping a farmer collect corn to level up while staying away from a randomized adversary across different randomly generated maps. The application was developed to run on PC and was developed entirely in Java with Swing framework for the UI. Gimp was used to develop the sprites.

Developed an android interface for craigslist for the Froyo version of android as a side project in college. This involved writing a crawler to parse requests from the mobile app simulating a search submission on craigslist web interface. The mobile app was built with android API level 8 and the server side was developed on a LAMP stack.

Developed an application which allows users to encrypt and decrypt information into images while allowing high data hiding capacity with very low low distortion. This application was built as a freelance project out of college and was written in java with Swing framework for the UI.
