One should start enjoying solving people's problem and cherish the satisfaction and dopamine 'feel good hormone', that gets released on solving people's problems. This will start getting reflected in one's work and eventually get noticed, not only by their managers, but by people whose problems got resolved. Success then will automatically chase such professionals.
