    The objective was to generate electricity from the kinetic energy stored in a vehicle using a rack and pinion mechanism. The energy generated on an average in a day was sufficient to light up the street lights for 8 hours during the night.

The prototype was tested and tried at the 2012 Shell Eco Marathon held at Sepang International circuit, Malaysia. The prototype had successfully completed the marathon with a fuel efficiency of 70 kmpl. This is the first time a team from India could successfully complete the gruelling marathon.
