“If any of you have read the book 'The Scarlet Pimpernel', I'd sum him up in one name.. Sir Percy Blakeney. For those who have not, he is the one I first looked up as "Leader", and shall always hold the pride of being in his team. For in him, I saw a person bold, decisive, protective, knowledgable, strategic, influential and yet a listener, approachable, friendly and witty ! He guides you when you are unsure. He gives you a sense of direction as you go along about your work. In his team, no one feels let down. In his lead, you know you're doing well. There isn't a trace of office-politics in your mind, under his leadership. In his team, everyone knows that they belong, as a team. He inspires you to do your best, he sets his example by doing. Forget about the trend of a superior demanding respect; in his case, his entire team roars his name in pride as one pack, and respects him as a Godfather! To this day, when my colleagues call someone a fab leader at workplace, I rule them out, saying I know someone who is far better, in fact much superior and refined in his calibre. Wish you the best, always, Sir!”
