Encouraging a culture of sharing failure stories is as important as recognition for your team ! Failure is stepping stone to innovation and success and failing fast is key to any transformation journey! I have personally experienced ,that when i have enabled a culture for failing fast , there is better trust in the team and far better appetite to innovate.

This has what has helped me in the past , the best way to teach some one anything you want them to improve on is to put them in those situations multiple times ,get them a mentor and help them fail fast !! The learning from failing fast is immense . What’s more important is choosing the right mentor, not someone who’s naturally assertive but someone who’s had this as an opportunity and developed it over time !! Their guidance and contribution will be authentic and they know exactly where your recruiter may need help.

Some client relationships start at 100 and some at a zero , for those at 100 sustenance is key and for those at zero , there is a need to walk the extra mile in the clients shoes , understanding their business is key, understanding their pain points is key , but what is most important is building a solution ,in the interest of their profit.Successful client relationships require a combination of sustained effort, empathy, understanding, and tailored solutions that align with the client's profit and needs. By prioritizing these elements, you can foster long-lasting and mutually beneficial partnerships.

In the rutt of being technically human we have forgotten that all of our DEI initiatives don’t always necessarily need to start with numbers , in a global company like mine and in many others getting data on gender in some countries is almost impossible legally , so my take is to first be humanly technical , build an ecosystem for Diversity to thrive , make the right investments to build a culture of inclusion and make sure every individual feels the world class experience you want to provide , people always remember how you made them feel and that’s where the DEI journey begins.Never do anything because it’s a tick in the box but do it because it’s a business imperative.

At the end of the day Humans are Humans in any part of the globe , they have their own aspirations have their own set of needs and wants . Id like to share my favourite quote here “people forget what you said , people forget what you did but people never forget how you made them feel.”So whether it’s attracting talent ,making them an offer, training them to be successful or making sure they are highly engaged,the key essence will be how you made them feel ! If you made them feel great they will reciprocate and strive harder to reach the shared vision and purpose .

Building resilience is a marathon, not a sprint. Recognize and celebrate small wins and continuous improvement, not just reaching the final goal. Every step forward, every lesson learned, builds collective resilience muscles. Remember, feedback is a gift, not a weapon. When done right, it empowers your team to bounce back from challenges, learn from mistakes, and adapt to change like champs. So go forth, spread the feedback love, and watch your team thrive in the face of anything!
