Task at hand was to study and analyze how Amazon.com keeps it promise of Getting Big fast through Delivery at any cost.

Did a secondary research by not only going through documents available but also interviewed alumni who are in different E-commerce companies.
Through this project we not only got a view how Amazon owing to its superior distribution system is able to sell a product at $100 which even Walmart sells for $119. Amazon not only went big fast by increasing its distribution facilities but also used new techniques like RFID tagging etc in addition to one of the best operational excellence metrics like No of Items picked/hr, Free replacement rate etc. Show less

Task at hand was to study and analyze the distribution system of HUL and P&G as example companies, their reach and what new can be done with respect to Bullwhip effect as well as segments of Cost reduction.
Did a secondary research by going through available documentation and also interviewed people working in fields of the Distribution chains in both the companies.

Got a clear picture of the on field differences in Distribution approaches of both companies

Volunteered as an intern for 6 Weeks with Citizens Foundation, Ranchi to develop processes for improving Operational Efficiency and to develop systems to enable scalable and sustainable information flow among all stakeholders.
