    My team and I have been honored with the prestigious “Game Changer Award” for driving measurable innovation and building an Order Resiliency capability in the B2B Quote to Order Management System.

    During 2021-2022, our B2B Q2O management ecosystem faced multiple instances where the Order generation failed, resulting in a significant business impact considering the average order size is in the millions of dollars. Recognizing the urgent need for improvement, we proactively presented the issue to our management team and took the initiative to build order resiliency checks into the system. Collaborating closely with multiple teams, with dedicated two months of hard work to build an innovative solution, and in April 2023, we successfully deployed a robust Order Resiliency solution.

    The true testament to our achievement came in April, the day we completed the feature roll-out when a MIM-related database outage impacted our sales. Thanks to the Order Resiliency checks we had implemented, 39 orders that would have otherwise failed were seamlessly processed. This eliminated the need for laborious manual reprocessing and brought substantial benefits to our Order Processing team and production support teams, while also safeguarding our top lines (amounting to multi-million dollars). This instant return on investment through the Build-Deliver-Measure cycle is a rare feat in my 15+ years of career experience.
