Even though my day is well-planned and my life is balanced between work and other areas, there are times when a client faces a crisis. In those moments, I always make it a priority to support my client, even if it means going beyond my regular sessions. Empathy is a key aspect of being a coach. Coaching isn’t just my profession; it’s my mission, which is why I don’t experience burnout. I also use effective techniques to maintain my energy and health. My relationships with family and friends are very important to me, so I ensure they receive the attention and care they deserve, which in turn fosters their understanding and cooperation when such crises arise.

I don't struggle with doubts about my coaching methods because every client who has fully committed to the process has achieved outstanding results, often exceeding their expectations. I continually invest in my growth, dedicating 10% of my income each year to learning new coaching tools and techniques. This ongoing self-improvement sharpens and evolves my coaching methods annually, reinforcing my confidence as a coach. I'm adaptable and flexible, which allows me to address any doubts clients might have before they enroll, ensuring a smooth and confident journey for both of us.

Genuine interest in your clients' happiness and helping them transform their lives naturally comes through when you connect with them. Your content, along with recommendations from previous clients on your LinkedIn page, also plays a crucial role in building that trust. I've had LinkedIn connections share deeply personal aspects of their lives with me—things they haven't shared with anyone else in their first session. This has shown me that the trust-building process begins long before they officially enroll in coaching. As a result, I've had clients from all over the world reach out to me, driven by these interactions and the trust they inspire.

As a dedicated coach, your commitment to your clients' progress & results is paramount. When clients struggle to complete their homework & feel they aren't making progress, or some other priority comes up,they might consider dropping out. In these moments, it’s your responsibility to remind them of why they began this journey and the potential consequences of quitting at this stage. However, it's crucial to recognize that coaching is a two-way relationship. If a client isn't truly ready for coaching or has misunderstood what the process entails, it may be best to let them go. Without mutual commitment, results are unlikely to follow. This is why it's essential to qualify your clients before enrolling them, preparing them for journey ahead.

Building trust with your client and demonstrating genuine intent is far more important than sticking to a specific approach. As a coach, I’m flexible with the methods I use because I know that trust is the foundation of any successful coaching relationship. There are times when a client might face personal challenges or hear doubts from loved ones that create confusion about the coaching process. In those moments, it’s crucial to be aware and adaptable, using your conviction and confidence in your coaching abilities to help the client overcome those barriers.

I completely agree that change can be incredibly challenging for most of us. Our natural tendency is to resist it unless circumstances force us to adapt. That’s why establishing a strong “why” behind the change is so crucial. It creates the motivation needed to overcome the initial resistance. In my work with clients, I’ve found that helping them clarify and connect deeply with their “why” is the first step toward meaningful change. Once that foundation is solid, the change process becomes much more manageable and sustainable. It’s all about ensuring the drive for change is stronger than the resistance to it.
