“This girl right there is the powerhouse of ideas and creativity. Her work is 'work of passion', if she has committed to deliver anything - she would do it, come what may! Everyone writes, but going that extra mile - bringing that enhanced flavour in everything she pens down is what makes her unique! Keep up, lucky to have worked with you! ”

You want to create a Thought Leadership brand with video. What are the best tools for the job?
You must consider how good of a relationship you share with a camera. -If you are not a pro, I suggest you record a few videos speaking on camera alone. Analyse the videos, take POVs of others. -If you are a natural, great! If not, experiment with video formats and angles. The easiest here is to not look in the camera, ask someone to sit diagonally and then record your videos aka podcast style shoots. Just invest in a mic. -Always give a 3 second pause at the start and end of the video, helps at the time of editing. -Write scripts the way you speak so that it's easier for you to memorise and speak. Alternatively, you can also get a teleprompter from Amazon. -Shoot in direction of sunlight, always. Move camera 360 to know.

Also, continuously engage through comments, wishes in DMs, keep interactions gradual. Message outline- The goal is to prompt interest in your podcast, so avoid appearing desperate by revealing all details at once. 🎯Compliment > Reason for reaching out > Want more details?>Best podcast link Test this and share your experience.

You’re a thought leader with a new podcast. How can you make sure it gets heard?
Answer this to yourself- 1. Are you an original or the one who rephrases the content of thought leaders? If latter, collaborate with real thought leaders to avoid running out of ideas. 2. Enough followers on any app already? If not, you should run ads on social your TG is mostly on. At HROne, we run 'The CHRO Mindset' Podcast and use LinkedIn for awareness. Also, unless you are Gary V., solo would limit your reach. Get people with bigger influence than yours or at least equivalent. Gain from the ripple effect as they share. Lastly, word of mouth is the most credible and inexpensive marketing tact. SEO and ads will help reach the right audience, not make them love your podcast. Deliver such quality content that your TG recommends.

How can you design content that feels authentic?
Your first mistake: thinking you don't have enough stories/ experiences or they are not worth sharing, lack impact. Second mistake: resorting to fake tales by copying others or using GPT to create them for you. Solution? 1. Realise every content and story has its audience. Yours too. 2. Observe and absorb more- even your routine experiences can help create content. Spot it. 3. Also, start reading- A habit I am also trying to rebuild. Works wonders in so many ways. You will have enough to share. Authenticity will naturally follow if you stick to your genuine narrative until it speaks to some and then to many.
