Here's how you can incorporate feedback into performance evaluations for professionals in Strategy.
Measuring the outcomes of a strategy can be challenging. It's crucial to comprehend the specific objectives of the strategy, such as growth, revenue scaling, the number of new customers acquired in a given period (quarter, year, etc.), or expansion in terms of headcount or delivery centers across various geographies. When the goals of a strategy are clearly defined and linked to tangible outcomes, it becomes easier to measure its success.

Here are few things that I learnt and found useful over the years: * Communication is the key - Keep the lines open at all levels at all times * Build Trust - Know thy team, be transparent, and encourage collaboration. * Clear roles & objectives - Establish outcomes/goals and define roles clearly. * Be there for your team when they need support * Empower your team and offer flexibility. * Culture of "One Team" - Organize in-person/virtual team-building activities and most importantly celebrate successes. * People make mistakes - Encourage problem-solving and learning at the same time

What do you do if your AI consulting services are not attracting clients with their pricing?
Never start with outcome model for a new customer or project. Let the engagement mature and then experiment with outcome/output/unit based pricing models. Pricing model no matter how bespoke should be tied to value generation for the customer and should translate into revenue earned or saved or both.

How can you handle difficult questions during an enterprise software demo?
"I'll get back to you" usually shows lack of prep & understanding of your customer’s challenges. They'll see right through the facade of fancy terms & vague answers. Here's what worked for me: 1. Research & understand the challenges that led them to your solution. 2. Know the priorities & inhibitions of each stakeholder (e.g. IT, Biz) wrt to your product/soln. 3. Correlate your response to #1 and #2. 4. If you know it partially, answer that first with relevant examples & case studies. 5. Use a follow-up session or email to respond to the remainder of the question along with your thank you note. 6. Never claim anything that your soln doesn't have. Honesty is key to building trust with your customers. Good luck for your next one!
