How can you overcome challenges to building diverse and inclusive teams?
From my personal experiences, I can tell that it starts with respectful acceptance of diversity in all forms. At work, we need to be more mindful of our own biases conditioned into us. It is important to responsibly address conflicting perspectives that influence and motivate others. At the onset of the hiring process, as recruiters, we can ask the hiring manager questions such as 'How do you ensure that your team members feel a sense of belongingness?'.
