Varex is seeking a skilled Desktop Support Specialist to join our team in Visakhapatnam, providing essential IT support across the EMEIA region with a focus on India.

Your Role...

• Daily user and workstation support all over EMEIA with a focus on India
• Understand and Trouble shoot in users’ context.
• Pro-actively stay in touch with the business/users and understand their needs
• Independently handle assigned IT service tickets. Be able to diagnose, analyze and solve complex problems and demonstrate excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Resolve and respond to questions received via telephone or Service-Now ticketing system.
• Perform occasional data center hands on administration duties
• Documentation of your own work and for users
• Contribute to assigned IT projects

Your Profile...

• At least good command of English
• Team Player in a Global Team
• Willing to travel occasionally
• Apprentice Ship/Degree in IT or equivalent Experience
• 5+ Years of Experience in Client/User support
• Windows Client OSs
• Trouble shooting of Client related issues
• Printer Issues
• Deployment of Clients
• Phones/cell phones
• Client Connection issues
• Experience with virtualization technologies preferred
• Experience with backup/restore technologies preferred
• Experience with InTune or Tanium preferred
