Team Overview

The Client Operations Department supports global teams across all business lines, support functions, regions within KKR. A global team involved in the entire lifecycle of an investor and plays a critical role in ensuring exceptional service delivery to Clients. Different verticals in this team are Onboarding, Inquiries, Communications, Investor Services and Reporting. Client Operations team partners with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure business continuity, add value, protect the firm, and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of operational processes. The position is based in our Gurugram location.

Position Summary

This role is responsible for collaborating with various groups within the firm on a variety of projects. A successful candidate will have the ability to execute projects, assess risk, determine root causes, recommend solutions, and build strong relationships across all levels of seniority within the firm.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Be well-versed with investor lifecycle and perform day-to-day operations in alignment to existing procedures.
  • Engage with fund counsel and other teams for entity formation, onboarding of Clients to the internal systems based on the subscriptions.
  • Own Contact Management, Permissions & Entitlements, Audit Queries for investors.
  • Liaise with global finance teams and ensure all communication are sent to investors without any delays.
  • Responsible for evaluating, verifying, and processing requests in a timely manner.
  • Validate authenticity of the investor requests and provide relevant information to investors / auditors with utmost alertness.
  • Resolving general investor queries and provide appropriate responses independently.
  • Understand best practices and ensure compliance to policies and internal controls.
  • Identify improvement / value creation opportunities continuously and proactively to deliver results.
  • Own ad-hoc projects as required.
  • Develop relationships with various internal and external partners across all regions to complete and streamline processes.
  • Identify operational risks and offer solutions to mitigate adequate robust controls and technology.
  • Cultivate positive working relationships across the KKR business, including Global Finance and Operations functions and deliver excellence through active collaboration.
  • Own and drive change initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • At least 1- 4 years of experience/exposure in working in a high-volume data environment.
  • Experience in a multinational Financial Services organization, asset management firm, and/or Private Equity preferred.
  • Effective communication and email writing skills.
  • Knowledge of Private Equity Lifecycle workflow, Fund and Product onboarding will be preferred.
  • Strong IT aptitude, with a demonstrable knowledge of data analysis, reporting.
  • Demonstrable experience in driving change and challenging the status quo.
  • Ability to manage multiple requests and tasks daily and track / respond to requests in a timely manner.
