Manufacturing Electrical Engineer

Varex Imaging is currently looking for an Electrical /Electronical engineer to support Detector manufacturing in our Visakhapatnam AMTZ, Andhra Pradesh facility. Our Detector manufacturing engineering team is looking for an Electrical engineer who is open to learning new things and has technical and non-technical communication skills.

Your Role...

• You develop, implement and maintain methods, operation sequences and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final Detector assemblies.
• Knowledge or experience with DMMs, Oscilloscopes, Microscopes, Solder stations
• You Interface with design engineering and manufacturing in coordinating the release of new products.
• You maintain records and reporting systems for the coordination of manufacturing operations.
• Strong experience with troubleshooting of electronics at the system and component level to meet medical or non-medical system requirements.
• Normally receives little or no instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new projects or assignments.

Your Profile...

• Bachelor’s or master's degree (or equivalent experience) in Electronics /Electrical Engineering
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to travel short and long-term for obtaining internal training overseas (mainly in the US)
• Proficient in utilizing business tools such as E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• ISO-13485 experience desired
• Experience with SAP desired
