SRKR Engineering College

Our beloved SRKREC Civil Engineering Professor S.R.K. Reddy garu passed away on 10-6-2024( Monday midnight 12.30am) at an age of 79 years. Sir retired from service in SRKREC as head of Civil Engineering department during 2005 and subsequently worked in Gudlavalleru Engineering college as Principal, Director and as a Faculty member. He is a great teacher and a greater human being. May his soul rest in peace.

It is One Year since the SAANA Inaugural Meeting held at New Jersey on 27-5-2023. I had a great opportunity in meeting close to 380 SRKREC Alumni right from 1984 outgoing batch. 80% of the Alumni I met are from 1984 to 2005 outgoing. My 3 week trip(my first trip to USA) was a fantastic and memorable experience. During this trip, I was at Hyderabad International Airport, DOHA International Airport, San Francisco International Airport, San Jose International Airport, Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, Newark International Airport and New York City JF Kennedy International Airport 😊. I met 100+ alumni in San Francisco Bay Area( met student friends and a few relatives at Cupertino , San Jose, Sunnyvale, Santa Clara, Fremont, Santa Cruz, Saratoga, Milpitas, Paulo Alto, Stockton, Pleasanton, Stanford University, University of California- Santa Cruz, Mountain View, San Francisco City - Golden Gate Bridge). I met 100+ alumni in Texas(met student friends and a few relatives at Irving, Frisco, Plano, Dallas, University of Texas-Dallas). Finally in New Jersey I met close to 180 Alumni at SAANA function held at Edision on 27-5-2023(met student friends and a few relatives at Edison, Princeton University, Hillsborough, North Brunswick, Swaminarayan Temple-Robbinsville, New York City). Many SRKREC Alumni including SAANA organizing committee helped me in this DREAM LIKE TRIP and I personally thank all of them.

Hi Friends, I want to bring to your attention the plight of one SRKR Engineering College Alumni, Bapiraju Mudunuri( Verified his data and he belongs to SRKREC 2009-2013 ECE batch). He is currently facing a challenging battle with a rare form of blood cancer known as T-ALL. He is undergoing chemotherapy treatments at Citizens Hospital in Hyderabad. He recently resigned from a prestigious Indian company(TCS) as a software engineer( 10 years experience) to enhance his skills and pursue career opportunities in USA. He got the H1B visa and was set to travel to the USA next month but unfortunately this medical issue has happened He is lacking the financial resources / medical insurance to cover the extensive expenses associated with his treatment. An approximate sum of 40-50 lakhs is urgently required to support his medical care and ongoing chemotherapy sessions. Given his family's precarious financial situation, they are unable to bear this burden alone and are in need of external assistance. On 2nd March 2024, I was honoured with Lifetime Achievement Award at CMR Technical Campus, Hyderabad Guests on Dias include 1) Padmasri Dr BL Deekhatulu 2) Padmasri Manjula Anagani 3) Dr Chakrapani Retd IAS Artificial Intelligence Medical Engineering Research Society organised this event.
