News: 6 days agoHarris signed with the Patriots' practice squad Wednesday, Mark Daniels of MassLive.com reports.
Spin: There was no room for Harris on the Pats' 53-man roster after he lost out to JaMycal Hasty for the No. 3 running back job behind Rhamondre Stevenson and Antonio Gibson. Harris has played in nine regular-season games for the Patriots since being selected in the sixth round of the 2022 NFL Draft, and during that span he rushed for 117 yards and two touchdowns on 34 carries. Harris will stay in New England and be ready for a potential promotion to the active roster during the upcoming season.
