Whether you’re looking for a unique cocktail recipe or just a fan of key lime pie, you’re in for a treat today with this Key Lime Pie Martini recipe! It’s one of my new favorite sweet cocktail recipes.
Here on Inspired by Charm, I love shaking up quirky martini recipes. Some of my favorites include a raspberry cheesecake martini, a tiramisu martini, and a martini served out of an ornament. I couldn’t be more excited to add another martini to the list.
To create this recipe I tested out several variations. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to make just a basic key lime martini or one that was more inspired by the flavors of the classic dessert. I tried the basic recipe first, and while it was good, it just didn’t feel special enough. So I busted out the cream of coconut and graham cracker crumbs and made something I’m proud of and excited to share with you!

Ingredients
I know you’re ready to shake up a key lime pie martini! But first, let’s gather the ingredients you’ll need.
- vanilla vodka – I really like Absolut Vanilla, but whatever you have on hand will work fine. You could use a whipped-flavored vodka as well.
- key lime juice – Finding key limes can be a little tricky, so I recommend Nellie and Joe’s 100% Key Lime Juice for this recipe.
- triple sec – I keep Cointreau stocked on my bar cart, but use what you love.
- cream of coconut – My favorite for cocktails is the Rèal brand cream of coconut.
- simple syrup – This is so easy to make at home. Check out my recipe for simple syrup.
- graham cracker crumbs – You can buy ready-made graham cracker crumbs. Since I tend to have graham crackers on hand, I just smash my own in a plastic bag with a rolling pin.
- lime – Slice up a few wheels of fresh lime for garnish.

Frequently Asked Questions
You may have some questions while you’re making this martini recipe. I’ve answered a few below. If you have any other questions, please leave them in the comment section.
What is the best cream of coconut for this recipe?
I used and recommend the Rèal Cream of Coconut. It’s designed for use in cocktails, so it mixes up beautifully. Plus, the flavor is delicious!
Where do I find key lime juice?
You can use freshly squeezed; however, key limes can be tricky to find and you will need a lot to get the amount of juice required for a cocktail. While I’m typically not a fan of bottled citrus juice, I do enjoy and recommend Nellie and Joe’s 100% Key Lime Juice. The flavor is great and it works wonderfully in recipes.
How many calories are in a key lime pie martini?
There are 324 calories in this cocktail recipe. Not to bad for a dessert-inspired cocktail recipe! Want to cut down on the calories? You could omit the simple syrup.
What are some good food pairings with a Key Lime Pie Martini?
This martini pairs wonderfully with light appetizers like roasted shrimp, coconut shrimp, or summer salads. For dessert, a slice of classic key lime pie or coconut cake would perfectly complement the tropical and citrus flavors of the martini
