China) is inclusive of two vertical kilns model Vanguard® 20 with a nominal capacity of 800 tpd each and a dual firing system (pulverized solid fuel plus lean gas). Cimprogetti has developed the Vanguard® kiln design, featuring a circular section with a radial crossover channel, to respond to the lime market trend moving towards larger kiln capacities. Suitable for different fuels, from traditional to biomasses and lean gases from steel production process, Vanguard® kiln design not only allows for pursuing important results in an environmental context but makes it inherently sustainable and attractive to ensure the client a high quality of lime produced and reduced operating costs. The plant is currently operational with performance indicators showing promising results.

🆁🅴🅰🅳🆈 🆃🅾 🅸🅶🅽🅸🆃🅴 🆂🆄🅲🅲🅴🆂🆂! The ABC® kiln of BUDAKIA MINERALS LLP is ready for start-up. Featuring the latest "advanced speed burners" technology fuelled with coal, the kiln is specifically designed to produce quicklime ideal for Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC) brick production. The location of the site in a remote forest area of Meghalaya state, the abode of clouds a 70 per cent forested state, has been a challenge for the smooth execution of the project, which has granted by the high degree of flexibility and dedication of Cimprogetti technical assistance team.

𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲! The Company Leone La Ferla S.p.A., one of the leading lime manufacturers in South Italy, has signed a contract for the revamping of the hydration plant. The supply features a High Efficiency separator CIM-MICROSEP 300 HS and the Cim-Zeropoll bag filter. The existing 25 tph hydration plant was provided by Cimprogetti in 1992, along with a computerized supervision station and new bagging machines, to enhance the Melilli site and improve the quality and sustainability of the hydrated lime intended for construction, agriculture, and chemical industries uses.

𝗔𝗕𝗖® 𝗞𝗶𝗹𝗻: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘂𝗺 𝘁𝗼 𝗟𝗼𝘄 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗟𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 PT. Sulawesi Kapur Generasi Mandiri Indonesia has chosen Cimprogetti to supply an ABC® lime kiln. The ABC® kiln, known for its single shaft design and counter-current flow system, features the Advanced Burning Concept, ideal for producing medium to low reactivity lime. The newly designed lime kiln has a nominal capacity of 200 tons per day (tpd) and is fueled by pulverized coal. This kiln will primarily produce medium and low reactivity lime, which is essential for manufacturing autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC), a popular construction material in Indonesia. This project strengthens Cimprogetti's presence in the Indonesian market and marks the beginning of a long-term, successful partnership between PT. Sulawesi Kapur Generasi Mandiri and Cimprogetti.

𝗩𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗞𝗶𝗹𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗮'𝘀 𝗟𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁! Cimprogetti and WISDRI Wugang Engineering Co., Ltd will execute an EP project to supply four Vanguard kilns with a capacity of 600 tons/day each, dual-fired with mixed gas/COG, to Arcelor Mittal Nippon Steel (AN/MS India). These kilns are destined for the Hazira Complex in Gujarat, the largest single-location flat steel plant in India, which already operates eight Cimprogetti lime kilns installed between 1992 and 2019. This latest contract reaffirms the preferential status of Cimprogetti's technology for this long-standing customer and reconfirms the long-term partnership between Cimprogetti and WISDRI Wugang Engineering Co., Ltd for EP/EPC projects. Cimprogetti's cutting-edge technology continues to set the standard for the lime industry, highlighting their technological leadership and commitment to delivering high-efficiency solutions. This transition is motivated by several factors, including the aim to lessen environmental impact, improve sustainability, and decrease reliance on conventional fossil fuels. 𝙍𝙚𝙖𝙙 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙩 𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙡𝙚 𝙤𝙣 𝙚𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙨𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙥𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙖 𝘾𝙞𝙢𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙞’𝙨 𝙡𝙞𝙢𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙠𝙞𝙡𝙣 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨. 

𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 𝗡𝗟𝗔 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 (𝗨𝗦𝗔)  #NLA held its 2024 Annual Meeting June 11-13 at the JW Marriott Mall of America in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The meeting had strong participation with over 150 registrants. Dr. Valerio Colombari (Technical Director of Cimprogetti) has illustrated its comprehensive roadmap for design, research, and innovation aimed at facilitating plant #decarbonization. As experts in lime kiln design, Cimprogetti underscores the significance of plant modernization. Our general approach to achieving a decarbonized lime plant revolves around three key technological pathways: - enhancing energy and process efficiency - replacing fossil fuels with lower-carbon alternatives such as biomasses and hydrogen - drive the kiln process to be ready for carbon capture technologies Finally, Cimprogetti's innovation roadmap extends to hydrated lime, which shows promise in various new processes such as direct air capture for CO2 absorption. 

𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲: 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗞𝗶𝗹𝗻 #𝟬𝟱 𝗮𝘁 𝗕𝗵𝘂𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 & 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗟𝘁𝗱.  We are pleased to report that the commissioning of Kiln #05 at Bhushan Power & Steel Ltd. is progressing smoothly under the guidance of Cimprogetti's experienced Indian team. The heating phase of the kiln was successfully completed at the end of May 2024. This was followed by the stabilization of the kiln, fine-tuning, and a gradual increase in production to 60-70% of its nominal capacity. Stay tuned for further updates on this project!

𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀  We are pleased to provide an update on the ongoing construction project at SUNCITY CHEMICAL AND MINERALS in Rajasthan, India. A recent site inspection has confirmed significant progress on the Twin Shaft Vertical Kiln Flex Reversy 6, a coal-fired installation designed to enhance our production capabilities. The kiln shell construction is nearing completion, marking a major milestone in the project. Current efforts are focused on advancing several critical components, including: Electrical Control Panel Room, the CIM-FireSolid Combustion System, the Hydraulic Plant, the Blower Room, and the refractories. We are on track for the Quicklime production plants to begin operations by early 2025.
