𝗢𝗿𝗽𝗵𝗮 𝗕𝗶𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵, a spin-off of the portfolio of Cube Labs, dedicated to the discovery of new medical solutions for rare diseases, has broadened the expertise of its team by onboarding Andrei Paraschiv, PhD student graduated in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technologies. His solid background and expertise in chemistry will support the team in developing innovative solutions and optimizing processes.   Last week, Andrei presented a poster on a novel #sustainable protocol for fine chemical synthesis at the XXVIII National Congress of Società Chimica Italiana in Milan. Andrei introduced an innovative way to make #chemical reactions faster and greener, which could have big benefits for industries like pharmaceuticals. The research focuses on using a special copper-based catalyst to perform what's called "C-H amination" in heterogenous phase, an important process for creating various valuable heterocyclic compounds, without needing any extra additives like acids or bases.

As the first national center in Italy focused on #biodiversity, the NBFC—coordinated by Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche—plays a crucial role in promoting innovation and research in #sustainability and environmental protection.
